GES seeks a Client
Services Manager with project management and business
development backgrounds to join their team.
Our successful candidate will manage several
industrial projects and build new client relationships.
Established relationships with key client contacts within the
industrial business sectors are required. Responsibilities and
Duties:
- Serves as the primary client contact for GES’ nationwide
industrial projects.
- Manages the development, negotiation, and administration
of industrial contracts.
- Handles project and financial management of
investigative, remedial, and compliance projects for
industrial clients.
- Provides senior level oversight, ensures
regulatory/policy compliance, and offers technical input on
complex industrial projects.
- Provides senior review and approval to documents and
deliverables.
- Ensures that all industrial project team members adhere
to GES Health & Safety standards in all project and
field-related activities.
- Consults with Site Operations Managers to target new
areas and opportunities for business within the industrial
business sectors.
- Collaborates with GES’ Sales & Marketing teams, as
well as with the Industrial Program Manager.
- Co-conducts sales presentations and informational
seminars for potential clients.
- Identifies and tracks market trends and performs
competitor research and analysis.
- Participates in all aspects of bid and proposal
preparation.
- Attends industry related conferences, exhibitions,
associations, and functions.
- Generates leads and develops new business opportunities
through networking.
- Serves as a senior level technical, project management
and client stewardship mentor for junior staff.
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science,
Engineering or a related scientific major.
- 10+ years of environmental consulting experience working
with industrial clients in the private sector.
- Environmental Consulting
- Experience should include: investigation, reporting,
remediation, and management of environmental projects for
industrial business sectors.
- Retail petroleum work or handling large volumes of a
similar type work is a plus.
- 5+ years of business development experience. Business
Development Experience should include: generating leads,
creating proposals, conducting sales presentations, and
meeting sales goals.
- Qualified candidates will also be able to demonstrate
the ability to maintain an account for an extended period of
time as a result of client satisfaction.
- Must possess excellent communication, teamwork,
analytical, organizational, technical writing, presentation,
and client service skills.
- Professional certification is a plus
- A Drug/Alcohol Screening and a Background Check are

entry to mid level Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assisting with design calculations, bid packages, and
specifications for remedial technologies
- Handling Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of field
remediation systems
- Collecting environmental samples and overseeing field
investigations
- Completing and monitor ing field optimization activities
- Preparing industrial compliance documents and plans
- Managing laboratory data and report preparation
- Performing other related duties as
assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical,
Environmental, Civil, Mechanical).
- 2+ years of related experience is required

Manager with proven success in acquiring new clients within
the environmental consulting industry.
Our
successful candidate will support all business development
initiatives for our various regional GES offices through out
the United States. Established relationships with key client
contacts within the petroleum industry are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Plans and directs all aspects of the northeastern
region’s business development policies, objectives, and
initiatives.
- Consults with the Site Operations Managers within the
northeastern region to target new areas and opportunities
for business.
- Develops new market initiatives, assesses new markets,
and analyzes business opportunities.
- Initiates proposals, negotiates contracts, and closes
deals.
- Identifies and tracks market trends and performs
competitor research and analysis.
- Generates leads and develops new business opportunities
through networking.
- Participates in industry related conferences,
exhibitions, associations, and functions.

Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- This position will rely heavily on your technical
knowledge, so 4+ years of environmental consulting
experience as a Geologist, Scientist or Engineer is
required.
- At least 4 years of experience handling business
development initiatives within the environmental consulting
industry.
- Business Development Experience should include:
generating leads, creating proposals, conducting sales
presentations, and meeting sales goals.
- Working knowledge of environmental regulations within
the Northeastern region of the U.S. is required.
- The demonstrated ability to acquire new clients for an
organization.
- Qualified candidates will also be able to demonstrate
the ability to maintain an account for an extended period of
time as a result of client satisfaction.

Our Fort Lauderdale, Florida office seeks an
entry level Geologist or Environmental Scientist to join their
team
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participates in monitoring well installations and
sampling events
- Records data prepares reports, provides analysis and
interpretations of findings based on scientific
experimentation and existing knowledge
- Completes quarterly groundwater monitoring reports
- Performs hydrogeological assessments regarding
groundwater flows to identify contamination impact and
related concerns
- Compiles and completes field notes on each event/site
- Researches information relating to identifying
geological formations and soil delineation studies and
prepares reports and geological maps based on the findings
- Participates in the identification of viable remedial
solutions consistent with all Federal, state, and local
regulations
- Performs groundwater sampling, gauging and product
bailing, and surveying
- Performs other related duties as assigned
